The Year in Review -- Kenny Chesney Reclaims His Title as King of the Road

Kenny Chesney returned to the concert trail in 2011 after taking 2010 off the road. The fans were definitely eager to see him again, as Kenny's Goin' Coastal tour sold more than 1.3 million tickets, a personal best. He even set the record for the largest ticketed country event in the New York/New Jersey area, with more than 55,000 fans on hand for his August show at the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey. Kenny's trek came in at #6 on Billboard's Year End list of the industry's top 25 tours for 2011.

Kenny kicked off the year with the #1 hit "Somewhere with You" from his newly-minted platinum album, Hemingway's Whiskey. It also produced the #1 hit "Live a Little" in 2011 as well as his CMA Award-winning hit "You and Tequila" with Grace Potter. Kenny has announced plans to team up with Grace and pal Tim McGraw for his 2012 Brothers of the Sun tour.
