Trace Adkins “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” Song Lyric

Turn it up some
Alright boys, this is her favorite song
You know that right
So, if we play it good and loud
She might get up and dance again
Ooh, she put her beer down
Here she comes
Here she comes
Left left left right left
Whoo

Husslers shootin' eightball
Throwin' darts at the wall
Feelin' damn near 10 ft. tall
Here she comes, Lord help us all
Ol' T.W.'s girlfriend done slapped him outta his chair
Poor ole boy, it ain't his fault
It's so hard not to stare
At that honky tonk badonkadonk
Keepin' perfect rhythm
Make ya wanna swing along
Got it goin' on
Like Donkey Kong
And whoo-wee
Shut my mouth, slap your grandma
There outta be a law
Get the Sheriff on the phone
Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on
That honky tonk badonkadonk
(Aww son)

Now Honey, you can't blame her
For what her mama gave her
You ain't gotta hate her
For workin' that money-maker
Band shuts down at two
But we're hangin' out till three
We hate to see her go
But love to watch her leave
With that honky tonk badonkadonk
Keepin' perfect rhythm
Make ya wanna swing along
Got it goin' on
Like Donkey Kong
And whoo-wee
Shut my mouth, slap your grandma
There outta be a law
Get the Sheriff on the phone
Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on
With that honky tonk badonkadonk
(Ooh, that's what I'm talkin' bout right there, honey)

We don't care bout the drinkin'
Barely listen to the band
Our hands, they start a shakin'
When she gets the urge to dance
Drivin' everybody crazy
You think you fell in love
Boys, you better keep your distance
You can look but you can't touch
That honkey tonk badonkadonk
Keepin' perfect rhythm
Make ya wanna swing along
Got it goin' on
Like Donkey Kong
And whoo-wee
Shut my mouth, slap your grandma
There outta be a law
Get the Sheriff on the phone
Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on
That honky tonk badonkadonk

That honky tonk badonkadonk
Yeah, that honky tonk badonkadonk

(That's it, right there boys, that's why we do what we do
It ain't for the money, it ain't for the glory, it ain't for the free whiskey
It's for the badonkadonk)

Adkins rocks Grand Sierra

Country superstar Trace Adkins entertained a packed house Saturday in the Summit Pavilion at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno with a boot-stomping mix of hits and favorites.

In a set that lasted about 80 minutes, Adkins sang 18 songs including many fan favorites off his two greatest hits releases.

His most recent CD "Greatest Hits Volume II: American Man" features "I Got My Game On", a song about impressing the ladies, which kicked off the set.

Adkins appeared from the top of a staircase on stage in front of a large screen that played clips of music videos during each of the corresponding songs throughout the night.

Next came the songs "Swing" and "Songs about Me", in which Adkins tells a man he meets why he sings country songs. After the verse "I offered him tickets/I said you'll see what I mean/if you show up tonight", Adkins added "at the Grand Sierra", drawing heavy cheers.

He then went into older favorites before two tribute songs, "American Man", which he said was in honor of his father, and "Arlington", about the fallen soldiers buried at the national cemetery outside Washington, D.C.

Adkins said he remembered "Arlington" when he met a group of soldiers during the filming of Donald Trump's reality TV show "The Celebrity Apprentice."
Adkins was passed over by Trump in the finals for reality show host Piers Morgan.

After "I Wanna Feel Something" and "You're Gonna Miss This", Adkins declared "this is the end of the wholesome portion of the show."

The last few songs included "Ladies Love Country Boys" and "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk", Adkins' homage to the female backside.

He returned after a short break and closed the show with "Rockin Into the Night," which he dedicated to "those who set up and tear down this stage."

Adkins' fans would have stayed long into the night after the quickly-paced show but left satisfied after the swinging Reno stop of his national tou
